Sunrise over Pearce Channel

This photo was taken at the ocean's edge in traditional Kwakwaka'wakw territory at the East end of Cormorant Island British Columbia one cool spring morning. I was lucky enough to have almost perfect cloud conditions for a beautiful sunrise on this day. It was one of the first images that I took after my return to photography after a long hiatus. I'm very proud of this image and it encouraged me to continue to pursue compelling images of the beautiful part of the world I live in. I'm sure you will enjoy displaying it on your wall. I used a high resolution digital camera to capture this moment.
