Cormorants near the surf
One spring day a friend and I hiked out to Raft Cove in traditional Kwakwaka'wakw territory on the west coast of Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada. I came across this scene and knew I had to capture it. It took several exposures to get one with the surf splashing just so. I used a high resolution digital camera with a 200 to 500 mm telephoto lens to capture this moment.
